Bill 1111 Killed in Committee

House Bill 1111, sponsored by Republican Representatives. Libby Szabo, Arvada, Ken Summers, Lakewood, and Sen. Shawn Mitchell, Broomfield, would have put the controversial issue of whether to require a photo ID to vote on the ballot in November.

The bill, which passed the house, was sent to the Senate State, Veterans and Military Affairs Committee and on April 4th, was voted down on party lines 3-2. Committee members:
