Denver District Judge Robert Hyatt decided this week to adopt the Democrat Map that removes Congressional District 6 from Jeffco. This district is currently represented by Congressman Mike Coffman (R). The mostly urban areas of the county will be in CD 7 along with parts of Adams. The line runs roughly from BelMar west of Golden to Coal Creek Canyon. This district is currently respresented by Ed Perlmutter (D). The rest of Jeffco will be in CD 2 along with Clear Creek, Gilpin, Summit, Larimer and much of Grand and Boulder Counties. (CD 2 is Pink.) CD 2 is currently represented by Jared Polis(D).
